FrontEnd WordPress Developer

Optimus Computing is looking to add a frontend wordpress software developer to our team. Our priority is to create high quality websites for our clients, built on the WordPress CMS. As such, a high level of understanding of the WordPress environment is expected of all applicants. In this position you will be expected to work closely with the web design team as well as other fellow developers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking PSD files from our design team and creating pixel perfect, cross-browser tested and perfectly functioning websites.
  • Converting PSD files into custom WordPress themes (we are looking for someone who has extensive experience in WordPress development.)

Software Sales Representative

Optimus Computing is seeking a mid to senior-level Independent Sales Representative in Los Angeles that has experience in the software and tech industry. Responsible for acquiring and building clientele, conducting research to improve conversions, and building and maintaining relationships with existing customers. We design and code custom software for established businesses and enterprises; such as mobile applications, web applications, database applications, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recognize the needs of the client and provide detailed information to the client about the technical specifications of the software development services offered by the company.
  • Takes orders over the phone and in person. Advises customers on technical matters and recommends them potential IT solutions that can be developed for their specific case.
  • Negotiates contract agreement.
  • Construct sales pitches and presentations.
  • Travel to areas where needs are projected.
  • Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Help customers maximize the use of software features. Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers’ systems and processes.
  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Compensation

Initially, this is a commission only sales position. The right candidate can earn a substantial commission with unlimited earning potential.
